Why cant I change the key mapping?

Tried to change the camera movement and direct control mappings, but after I apply it just resets it to default?

Maybe the game doesn't have write access? Try running it as administrator.

When I edit the keys file under \Steam\steamapps\common\Soldiers Heroes of World War 2\profiles keys file.
What I know:
First, it's stupid that I have to twiddle for an hour to get my keys right.
Second, that I have to fiddle with the damn camera in the map file in each mission to get a decent view.
Third, please someone tell me what I need to input into the key text file to make double+(key).

{weapon_reload "KEY_R"} = k is pressed for Reloading the weapon.
{slowdown "KEY_BACKSPACE"} = Slow down the game by pressing Backspace.
{single_select "~SHIFT + MOUSE_LEFT"
{noedit}
}
Apparently this is not able to be edited - as far as I know. I COULD probably change it to another command but I am not sure this would screw up the game.

You should have read my guide and carefuly done the changes. If you had not done a copy of the original file then you going to have to create another profile.
