This file stores the images you assign to the games along with the paths and rom filenames. Currently this file isn't directly portable to other computers, unless you have the exact same paths and rom filenames on those computers as well. Separating the images from this config file is on the to-do list.
In any case, making a backup is always a good idea.
In theory, could a second person use my rom.cfg file just to get the screenshots and then assign the rom paths himself?
Or are the paths locked to the screenshots as well?
