So where do I buy these games?

I thought that the games are included, but it seems like this only contains the emulator. I read the sticky about piracy, and I get it. But how am I supposed to get these games legally?

Simple. 8-bit Adventure Anthology: Volume I recreates three classic games in the Unity engine. Since it does not include the ROM files, it's not directly relevant to 3dSen.

It doesn't recreate them. They are emulated NES games embedded in executable wrappers, much like others mentioned here. However, they aren't loose NES roms in the game folders like some of the games listed here.

A nice page on Itch.io with games including a NES ROM file. I didn't go through them all to verify. It has some supported games like Micro Mages and Super Bat Puncher.

Speaking of Morphcat's games (Micro Mages and Super Bat Puncher), Böbl just got a big update with multiple game modes: https://morphcatgames.itch.io/bobl

Not by US law, no. Even if you own the games, you can't legally download a copy. However, if you have a cartridge reader (several exist, look up Sanni's Cart Reader, it can do NES, Famicom, SNES, Genesis/Megadrive, N64, GB, GBC, GBA, and several others with adapters. It's a DIY project but if you don't want to solder it together yourself there are people who sell pre-built units, can backup/restore your save data too) you can make a legal ROM dump of your physical carts.

IIRC there are always ways to extract the ROMS out of Virtual Console games if you bought any of them on a Wii or WiiU, I am not 100% sure but I am pretty certain that's also legal to do.

Yeah, I forgot about posting this. At the time something wasn't 3D, so I thought it wasn't. There have been two different versions of the game on Itch. The first one which would be the one I had then had a slightly different stage layout than what I saw on YouTube, so that might be why it was different.
