Stuck on "crate expectations"

Is it possible to rotate the 2x1 buck vertically?
Please give me any hint to solve this level.

A lot of players are getting stuck on it, it might show up earlier in the game than it should :)
First off, it is not possible to get a horizontal 2x1 into vertical position.

Hint 1: Think about how the grabbing works, and how it changes depending on what height the character is at and what height the crates are at
Hint 2: You need to grab all 3 in a single stack
Hint 3: One crate is eventually used to level the platform leading to the fire

All that said, skip puzzles freely (if you want to), you can always come back! You'll learn more about the system and be better equipped.
