On the topic of UFO 50 merch, I for one would eat up a couple of LX III controllers to play the game with if you ever designed them for (limited run) manufacture. Especially after seeing

it's not as cool or fun, but it looks like theyre based on pc engine controllers. unfortunately the 8bitdo one has extra buttons but theres probably other options

8bit-do would be the perfect collab partner for this. a knock off famicom controller. or just a keychain whichever is realistic.

I love UFO 50 and I'm happy to see merch for it. Pilot plushie looks cute. Too bad there's no Isabell. Lost opportunity to have the egg-shaped design on the shirt.

Aha you're right! The LX ones we see in the trailer/opening look sort of like a cross between those pc engine ones and a NES/Famicom controller

And yeah, I own a couple of SN30s and think 8bitdo's dpads would be perfect if this ever happened, no idea how feasible a collab like that is but it'd certainly feel special to have the "real thing"
