Runs on Steam Deck when limited to 3 watts. What are those other 17 watts of your Switch doing?
Just to hopefully keep a more positive spin on this thread, I wanted to put out there that I didn't take this as any kind of "shaming" and I'd hate for others to take it that way, either, because this'd pretty quickly become a burning forum hellscape before too long! The mention of electricity is particularly relatable to me because I just recently had been figuring out electricity-bill stuff and noted just how much power the multiple PCs in my house consume; it's crazy!
We're, of course, all in our own different mindsets with different priorities and the like, so it can definitely feel outta left-field if we're used to leaving our PC's on all the time, or just play everything on PC in general, but it's definitely true that there can be a non-negligible cost to running higher-end PCs all the time! I just got off a Switch kick where I was practically the reveal-trailer "hallway guy", just sittin' around the house in handheld mode and during that time, I barely touched my PC. Now I'm back in PC mode specifically due to UFO 50 and am back in the mode where it's hard to imagine not using my PC for everything!
Again, just putting this out there to hopefully avoid undue confusion and friction! See ya'll around!
