Because of this, it doesn't really work too well with steam remote play from my experience. However, it can work well in something like Discord thanks to the ability to share and unshare your screen. You'll take your first turn with the screen hidden, show the screen to one player and take their inputs while the other looks away, and then do the same for the third, before bringing everyone back together to see the aftermath.
It's a little clunky to work with, but it is doable! Have had a few quibble races with some friends doing this, and its genuinely a lot of fun
