The Campanella pilots are definitely on the title screen. The gray one's the pilot in Campanella 2 (And at a second glance, I think that's the same sprite as when she sasses you in Pilot Quest)
It's a bit of an easter egg, but there's a crashed campanella in Golfaria. Same sprite as Pilot Quest, scaled down.
Oh and the coffee too. I think it's the same sprite in Ninpek, Campanella and Warptank.
Oh, and not a re-use (or even an internal reference) but a pretty clear reference to Mother 2 in Pilot Quest. (spoiler: cherry ending) The donka donka idol is basically the mani mani statue, minus having to fight it multiple times.
Oh, found another one. The coffee room in Warptank has one of the Ninpek snails just chilling out.
There are some diamond-shaped enemies in Campanella that show up again in Caramel Caramel.
Keep playing. You'll want to keep an eye out for things like this, as well as what goes on at the very end of the game. You're correctly picking up on an interconnected aspect.
