Party House: "Trouble!" explanation
Hey, what does the trouble mechanic do in this game? I can guess that it's "bad" to have too many "trouble" characters in your party, but I don't really understand how it works.

Oh, I think I'm starting to get it. Looks like you get a warning if you have two "trouble" characters in your party. I'm guessing once you have three or more, you lose.

Also of note: Most of the trouble mitigators (the hippie, the cute dog, the unicorn) cancel out one unit of trouble, but the trouble is still present. In this way, you can have more than two trouble without ending the party, which is important for characters with bonuses based on trouble (like the bartender). The Counselor, however, does not work this way: when you use the Counselor's ability, trouble is *removed*.

It's the main obstacle to winning a game of Party House. If you get a scenario with no hippies or cute dogs, you have to rely on therapists who are expensive and give no resources.

And if you don't even get one of those, you have to rely on guests who can kick troublemakers out and it makes the game a lot more difficult to win.
