Bug Hunter.... kind of dud on this. I like bug hunter, she hates it. I don't think its compelling enough to be this mix of both PvE and PvP. Idk.
Ninpek, love it. Made for two people playing through the whole thing.
Paint Chase. I mean, ok, the game is better against each other and was probably made in mind of PvP. I just don't like Paint Chase as a 1p, and idk if 2p changes that for me.
Mortol, I mean sure its just trading off controllers, but idk I had a lot of fun playing the game together.
Attactics, she refuses to play this so, can't say yes or no.
Kick Club, amazing to play together especially if you don't hold the ball forever.
Avianos, I know it can be great 2p, she doesnt like that kind of board game, so we don't play it.
Never tried Mooncat together.
Bushido Ball, loved it as 2p coop op, she hates sports games versus.
The Great Bell Chase/Pingolf, i know not the same game at all but they both are kinda solitaire in that its fun being competitive but not really affecting each others game. We both loved that.
Waldorf, something about it being kind of silly and light makes the competitiveness more fun
Caramel Caramel, her genre is schumps somewhat mine as well, so 2p, awesome
Party House.... yeah, So both of us have a 10 streak on that game, so the loop is.... kinda known to us, and seeing who is faster at it... meh?
Hot foot, I think gets a bad wrap. It's not as good as Dodgeball, but the specials are much more clear, and she likes a little violence in a sport if its coop. But man, in 1p your AI is like a wet fart. Does nothing and makes everybody uncomfortable. 2p coop, much much better game.
Rail Heist, definitely the best board game of the bunch, love love love it.
Mortol 2, not going to play it until we can both sit down and play it through
Fist Hell... yeah, thats another game she isn't touching, hates "thinky" beat em up games. Couldn't stand Streets of Rage 4, so this won't fly.
Overbold.... great idea, definately at lot better now that both of us have cherried it, still kinda ok
Hyper Contender, we both suck at it, but understandable why folks do like it
Lord of Diskonia, a little sad the diskes are random, but really great board game
Elfazar's Hat, second coop we cherried, lots of fun
Not going to touch Combatants for a while.
Quibble, neat game, but idk. Not my fav, not hers.
And Seaside was the first cherry coop, amazing game, very sad how short it is.
So not in order, but seaside, kick club, hot foot, rail hiest, and Pingolf are our go to.
just wanted to say I appreciate your detailed response. It's been really helpful for me picking out games to play with my friend!
