I am using a ps5 controller and it's not detected. I have no problems with any other games so i'm wondering what's the problem.

I use a PS5 controller and I had to enable Steam Input, but it works just fine.

My controller never gets recognized the first time I launch the game. If I unplug and replug and wait a good minute or quit and try launch it again then it works. Not sure if that trick will work for you too, I'm using a SNES controller.

1. Right click on the game in Steam and select "Properties".
2. Go down to the "Controller" tab.
3. Change settings from "Use default settings" to "Steam Input".
4. Enjoy the game.

Having the same issue. Using a DualSense connected via wired USB(I also have a DualSense Edge) and the game is not detecting even the standard DualSense, despite claiming that it has full support native in both the Library and in-game if you activate the Overlay and go to the Controller Settings.

Yes, if you activate Steam Input it will work, but it appears that should not be necessary given the game claims to have built in support for DualSense. Please note that if use an Xbox Elite S2 or similar XInput pad it is detected from the start. - another pad that it claims (through the glyphs) to support - Xbox One/Series and DualSense are visually indicated to have native support without SteamInput . I can also confirm that the SteamDeck OLED's controller is supported by default without issue as well.
