Be aware that the Dual Sense controllers (PS5 controllers) received a firmware update in August. Update your controller using the latest Playstation Accessories software:
Yes, if you activate Steam Input it will work, but it appears that should not be necessary given the game claims to have built in support for DualSense. Please note that if use an Xbox Elite S2 or similar XInput pad it is detected from the start. - another pad that it claims (through the glyphs) to support - Xbox One/Series and DualSense are visually indicated to have native support without SteamInput . I can also confirm that the SteamDeck OLED's controller is supported by default without issue as well.
