My Tier List of Games 1-10

Bug Hunter: I really like tactics games that play with a small set of rules that create a lot of emergent gameplay, with a lot of back and forth between you and the enemies. Reminds me a bit of Into the Breach, which I also loved.

Mortol: A very clever take on a limited lives system. I really enjoyed going back to previous levels to improve my performance so that I have more lives in later levels. I found some of the level design annoying/tedious, though, with some "gotcha" moments.

Ninpek: Solid all-around arcade game, and a good basis to judge other arcade games in the collection.

Velgress: Simultaneously super fun and incredibly stressful. Thankfully runs are very short. Could've done with a scoring system I think.

Attactics: A bit too chaotic for my liking, and it felt like I was winning matches out of luck. Turns are too short. I still like the mechanics, though, and want to try multiplayer.

Devilition: I enjoyed my time with this one, but I wish that there was a quicksave feature. My brain was fried by the 5th round and I wanted to take a break. There is so much to keep track of at once.

Paint Chase: It's fine I guess? I think I played an arcade game similar to it a long time ago, where you had to paint the floor of a maze to win.

Planet Zoldath: Its 2-slot inventory system makes the game much more tedious than it needs to be, and some of these items could've been passive upgrades. I still kind of enjoyed it, though, and the concept of a randomized adventure game was novel.

Barbuta: You might as well be playing as a turtle.

Magic Garden: I just could not get anywhere with this game. The best I could do was about 35ish drops. No way will I get even close to beating it.
