Can anyone give me an itty bitty hint as to where I can find another egg?

There are 2 special types of objects in the background, "eggs" and flowers.

Flowers indicate there is a portal on that screen.
Eggs spawn platforms if you jump (or walk) around them a bunch.

You can find the 2nd by the hints above, but for the 3rd its better to look up the route guide because it just requires doing things in a very specific order that the game doesn't tell you

So, I found one portal, which just sends you back to the start.
Then I found another which takes you to the jumping mushroom area.....
But then I end up going right back to the normal level?
I said "itty bitty hint" but I lied and I want a big hint plz :)

Yeah you get back to the regular levels and must find the egg to unlock a new path. The egg is hard to see. There is a guide here with a screenshot of the egg. You can look at that without getting spoiled on the route. Or get spoiled (that's what I did ^^')

Can you spoil one thing please, when going through a warp portal and ending up on the main route, did it accomplish anything having used the warp portal?

I assume you have to find the right warp portals to find Egg 2 (and 3?) and the other warp portals just lead back to the route to first egg, or does accessing a warp portal change something in the main route?

Main route always leads to first egg, you have to find the other eggs inside the warps.

Thanks, that's what I thought but wasn't sure if the main route wasn't changed after returning from a warp. Thanks for clarifying!
