Mini & Max - locations for sidequests help

Hi. I remember finding an NPC in Mini & Max who was dehydrated and wanted water. Eventually I found where to get the bottle and where to fill it up with water, however I can't for the life of me remember where the dehydrated NPC is, and I've been carrying around this water bottle for a long time just in case I run into them again. Does anyone know where to find this NPC? I'd really love to have this item slot available again...

Additionally, I also found a spider in the walls who wants me to bring them thread - does anyone know where to find this thread?

It doesn't seem like there's a sidequest guide or a map for this game anywhere yet. The game world is so full of things, it's very difficult to keep track of it all.

Never found him either, but i can tell you how i found every other NPC.

1.) Carry the item with you for hours
2.) Get rid of the item because you will never need it probably
3.) Find the NPC that wants the item 5 seconds after you go to another screen and the item despawns.

The dehydrated NPC was on a ledge on a flowerpot, I think the eastern one, below the soil?

Oh, and the thread is on the top of the bookshelf past the pencil. Where is this spider?

Ohh I'm such a dummy. I didn't realise the blue block of thread was a pick-upabble block, I thought it was just a platform similar to the big spools.

The spider is located in a hole in midair - if you grab the blue thread and run left, jump off the bookcase, and position yourself so you are centered with the floral pattern on the wallpaper, you'll land on a platform with a hole.

It's under the city the soldier belongs to, on a plateform on the side of the flower pot. You can actually see the dot if I remember correctly.

On the other hand, I can't remember where is the female rat that cooks?

Thank you, I found it!

The rat is located on the ground level on the carpet, in a hole in-between the two flowerpots (closer to the eastern pot)

I found the glass jar, the water, and the thirsty soldier. I’m just not sure how to get the water to him. There’s no convenient mushrooms spores or butterflies that I can find.

There's an upgrade that lets you stash an item for later so you can carry things without having to hold them over your head. If you don't have this ability, then keep exploring... because I don't remember where I found it lol.

Many items are obtained randomly in the micro world.

You're looking for the Backpack, which lets you store items for later.
I've found 2 so far, one was sold by the dust bunny vendor (is this random?), one found out in the micro world somewhere.

Thank you! I got one from the dust bunny (which I think just lets you attain key items?), and just found one in the micro world.

Can't seem to find this from your directions. If you drop down below the city you just fall off the flower pot, there is no ground below the city.

I also remember finding an insect, maybe a bee, who wants the honey that drips down from the ceiling in the same room as him. I can't find him again either...
