Onion delivery

This game is straight up unplayable. You have so little time while being completely dependant on RNG on the distance you need to make, the controls are garbage (intentionally I'm sure), the streets are nowhere near wide enough and the other cars put zero effort into actually avoiding you. I made it to day 2 a total of two times and I've played the game for over an hour, this is the only game I feel needs MAJOR adjustments to be even remotely good.

From what I have been reading, this, Barbuta, and Combatants are considered the worst games in the collection. Of course everyone has different tastes so there are no definitive bad games with the genre variety, but these 3 games are the ones most have been complaining about and get regular threads.

I haven't played Onion Delivery yet, but just from watching footage it looks miserable to experience lol

The worst Onion Delivery can throw at you is the Rain Storm. It makes deliveries impossible by randomly dropping a puddle in front of you which kills all momentum as more puddles congregate. Since you need to drive at high speed the whole time or you ain't making it unless you're lucky enough to snag the balloon crates for extra time. There's a mechanic to use the brake but really it doesn't help at all to brake because slowing down is a huge no-no as deliveries don't yield enough time if you're too low on time. Once you hit about 20 secs, its pretty much all over if you've got like 3 deliveries till you can return.

I've gotten as good as I can get at swerving in traffic to avoid cars and making high speed turns. The only reason I haven't gotten the gold is because of rain storms or I get lost in dead ends.

Another game that was "good" and then the devs were like "But what if we remove everything that makes it playable and speed it up 200%?"

I was able to cherry it today after several hours trying. You need 50+ deliveries so an average of 7-8 deliveries per day.

Rain Storm is indeed the worst and Acid is second. The other are rather manageable if you drive fast.

A little tips on Rain Storm, when you drive on a puddle, you can control the rotation a little by stirring to avoid finishing backward.

Also try to hit some balloons if you can, they give an extra 10 sec.

And finally for cherry, try to rack up as much deliveries on the first Day. You can obtain 9-10 and even 11 (my personnal max) on first day.

The best advice I can give is to remember locations by name so you can purely focus on the road instead of paying attention to the radar or the arrow. The one thing about this game that is dumb is rain. Very manageable if you get it day 2 or 3. But I just lost my cherry run getting rain day 7 losing every life to rain rng. Getting 10-12 onions on day 1-3 is easier than getting even the required 5 on day 7 with rain

Finally got the cherry with that same unfortunate luck. The one luxury afforded to you in rain is you can freely reverse through it. You will however get random rain that will decide to spawn 2-4 spaces a head of you so fast it's unreactable.

idk i only played 1 day to the end, it seemed fine to me. in fact it felt like i have plenty of time but maybe that was just day 1 / luck.

Day 1 is easy. Other days are harder because they all à special condition to hinder your driving.

i was just commenting because OP said they only made it to day 2 twice.

It turns out I was hindering myself horribly by playing very slow, mostly because I didn't realise being at top speed regenerates your hearts quite quickly, after getting a bit better at handling the faster car the game seems better and I made it to day 3, I still wish it was a bit more lenient.

i wish most of the games were more lenient. i have yet to beat one of the reflex play games ;). but im also glad they are not. it makes them feel more like obscure old games.

I serious, i dont even know how to control it.
It doesnt matter what direction i press, the car goes the opposite way and doesnt actually do what i want.
It seems to only go upwards too.
Controls are horrible and if they worked im sure i could maybe get some fun out of it.
