He seems to be preparing for some apocalyptic scenario and wants the UFO 50 games to be preserved.

Insane genius or Play-obsessed lunatic? He caused and emphasised the issues that caused UFOSoft's decline. But in his quest to make Play last Forever... He did force Greg to compile the games in the form that we found them! We wouldn't have the games if he didn't do that.

Then again... He was the lead on Combatants. AND he obscured the credits of the real developers... So, Tao's evil, objectively.

The credits of Sqibble Race are the same way, which came out first. I haven't played Miasma Tower to know if the game explains why, though.

Late UFOsoft titles under the leadership of Tao have all the developer names obscured. I may have accidentally implied it was just combatants but once you hit the 40-50 range, only Tao and Winston Nemuru are given full name credits for their work.

It's screwed up.

As I remember from finishing Mini & Max, everyone who wasn't a Nemuru was credited with only their initials. Hence, their names are obscured despite being, technically, credited.
