That specific part of the game is where you can start to consider spending exp on adventure stats because you should be getting very large amounts of it every day, making it less atrocious than earlier on.
Your energy and magic should also be getting high enough that a few days worth of exp wouldn't make a big difference anymore.
You obviously don't want to stop getting energy and magic until you reach the hard caps for them (and even then you might want to push a bit further to "free" some equipment slots for other bonuses).
Depending on if you did a lot of 30 minutes rebirths during challenges or not, it might be worth considering doing a decent amount of those in order to quickly increase macguffin bonuses now that the levels are fairly high.
The PP per kill in itopod seems a bit low but my basis for comparison is from when this was the end of the game (before cards and cooking), so a lot of things got a lot more time to grow than in your case.
If you have not looked into it yet, it might be a good time to start making specialized equipment presets, like one for itopod with a lot of respawn (and usually NGU with leftover slots), one for hacks and so on.
I'm currently in that push to v4 but I'm not spending exp on adv stats. I don't really follow that guide and play very sub-optimally, so obviously takes longer than someone who does, but I don't mind long walls - helps build up everything else.
If you want some numbers to compare with, I'm not that far ahead of you. My base P/T is 1.2b, 35m base regen, card bonuses range from 102% (daycare) to 168% (hacks) with 2,756% A/D, 172% adv, 237% gold, adv hack at level 4050 (0 reducers), NGUs range from 350m to 450m, maxed/boosted BECU, most of my guffs are < 400% (adv 418% and level 49k), I think I get around 2b or 3b exp/day (don't remember for sure), 6.2 pp/kill, dual wield 100% effective, T9 cube power almost soft-capped at 8.52b / 8.64b (sc), toughness at 2.59b / 6.29b (sc).
