brown and blue heart
are both of these separate multipliers to your other stats? I have equipment bonus of 290% for Ygg, so another 70% would give me 360% which is kind of - meh. But times 70% would give me more like 500% which is not bad

I am just trying to decide which of these 2 hearts to buy next, and then maybe skip the other and go right to the grey heart since I have enough to buy 2.

I have red yellow and green, 6 beards and 7 diggers

The hearts are not really about their base stats and more about the bonus from levelling them to 100.

Anyway, brown heart is not yggdrasil yield but "seed gain", a different multiplier that only affects seeds.

Its completion bonus is to make poop free once every 10, which isn't bad but isn't exactly stellar either.

Blue heart gives you NGU speed, which is decent if you get it early but not potent enough later on.
Its completion bonus gives 10% better effect to all consumables (the ones from AP shop), which can be pretty good but only when you do use some (often "only" used for poop on yggdrasil since you can get some for free).

"Equipment" bonuses (bonuses that come directly from items being equipped, not completion bonuses) are additive with each others for the same bonus before being multiplicative with bonuses from other sources.

Basically, both of those hearts give you some boost to poop for yggdrasil and can also work as equipment if you don't have other sources that makes theirs only a small increment.

so having higher seed gain doesnt give me more xp when I eat fruit of knowledge for instance, only if i harvested it for seeds, which nobody would ever do?

You get seeds from every fruit, even when you eat them.
You get twice as many if you harvest instead of eating (sacrificing the bonus to get twice the seeds).
Given the amount of seeds you need to get all fruits to max rank 24, it is usually a good idea to get one of your loadout slots for yggdrasil bonuses (both yield and seed), to be able to quickly swap to it before you eat/harvest.

Ok thanks. so the brown heart will basically add 70% at full to my 290% for 360%.

So, if I harvest something for 100 seeds or eat for 50 seeds, adding the brown heart will give me 120 ish seeds if I harvest.

The other eat bonuses stay the same but my eat bonus will also go up for seeds only and instead of getting 50 seeds i will get 62 ish. I am getting 1.5 million seeds a day it would probably go up by about 300000 in a month when I get it maxxed.

as far as ngu, I went from full barring the drop chance with all my energy to full barring it with half of my energy in 3 days so another 70 % added to my 1100% equipement NGU doest seem worth it either.

Maybe I dont need either.

Deciding on heart purchases is more about the completion bonuses, not their stats as accessories. Although the brown and rainbow hearts both give a bonus to seed gains when equipped, which does increase their value.

Brown is generally considered lower priority as 10% less poop usage isn't enough to justify the AP cost for f2p players early-mid game. People that buy packs generally get all the hearts soon as they can.

Blue heart is generally considered one of the better hearts. It's really good and gives more than what many think because it's a multi to a multi instead of to a boost.

For example, poop gives 50% bonus, which is x1.5 multi. With maxed blue heart, you get 65% bonus as it's 1.5 x 1.1, which is 1.65. This is how blue heart affects all consumables.

I believe the meta for hearts is: yellow > red > green > blue > orange > grey > pink > rainbow > brown > purple.

The orange, grey, pink, rainbow follows the order of feature unlocks and assumes you'll be getting them at the time the respective feature is unlocked.

If brown didn't have the bonus to seeds, it would probably swapped with purple to be the weakest heart.

Personally, I got brown heart early for the seeds. I bought the newbie packs so already had the red, blue, orange, and rainbow hearts. I then bought the yellow, green, and brown hearts.

So if the blue heart affects consumables, it basically does the same thing as the brown heart in a way, since even if I eat fruit, i would then get more seeds overall as well.

plus effects other consumables plus gives me a small ngu boost.

Its boost probably would boost the boost from the brown heart if i get that too.

ok ill get the blue and then the grey. Ill get the brown later if i have extra AP before the pink.
Thank you.
