Fruit of Gold

I´m just doing my first no rebirth challenge and trying to beat boss 30 to get to the time machine.
I was hoping the fruit of gold would give me some money to buy augments, but I get nothing when I eat it.
What does it depend on how much money you get from this fruit?

I have already earned quadrillions from it, and now, unfortunately, nothing.
I guess it's based on what you earn with the time machine?

Which leads me to my next question.
What happens in a no TM challenge?
Do you not get any money from this fruit?
Or is it somehow useful there?

Fruit of gold is based on the time machine, so you don't get anything if you don't have the time machine running.

I almost started one and thought, no problem with this fruit....

If you follow the rough guidelines on when to do challenges then fruits shouldn't come into the equation for most of them anyway.
The aim for challenges is usually to wait until you can clear them with quick rebirths (3 or 5 minutes for example).

The no rebirth challenge is an exception of course but usually it's the fruit of power alpha and beta that you are waiting on (if you even need to wait that long) rather than the fruit of gold.

I'm only at boss 95, so it takes me a lot longer to do my challenges, but I like them so far.

I did all basic, no augs and no equipment challenges and 2 24h.
But yes, the others seems a bit too challenging for me at this stage. ;-)
