The game isn't designed for it, but you can use unity player command line arguments (aka launch options in steam), one of which is:
-screen-fullscreen 1

The assets are kept at 16:10 ratio though so if you have a 16:9 screen, you'll get black bars on the sides.

You can also set a custom resolution using:
-screen-width 1280 -screen-height 800

If you're using the mods, you can press F11 to toggle fullscreen. It also has options in the cfg file to set custom resolutions and adds support for launch options to set a target framerate or enable/disable vsync.

Other Unity player command line arguments, if interested: https://docs.unity3d.com/2019.4/Documentation/Manual/PlayerCommandLineArguments.html

Unity options for the game are in the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\NGU Industries\NGU Idle

but since there are other ways, you shouldn't need to use the registry but it's there as a fallback if you need it.

There is none, this is the kind of game you are meant to often leave running in the background for a few minutes to a few hours while you do other things, then go back to make some decisions/changes.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
