If you're saying you don't have enough adventure stats without a weapon, then obviously you need to continue building them up. By the time you're ready to take on exile v1, the priest is a joke. I wouldn't think the stats from a weapon would be needed.
That said, the dual wield wishes are a big deal. They should probably be a high priority for you. It could be the encounter was designed with the second weapon slot in mind and assumes you'd have it by then.
Are you actually at this point without the second weapon slot, or are you just thinking/planning ahead?
Now refreshing my memory about having to use a blank weapon to kill the priest, I put in for the duel welding wish and just got my first level overnight. I assume I will have to wait at least another 3 or 4 days for advanced training and other ways to raise adventure stats while also waiting to get some levels on the wish. That is fine since I need to build up to kill the exile anyway.
So I went through all the pieces of the exile and put them on the top left corner of the first page. I control - clicked on various sewer items that showed up, including some 1 boosts, I don't know what was supposed to happen, but the priest is still showing up when I go to the exile.
The top left corner of my page 1 inventory has 2 merge slots, maybe this alters the position of the exile???
