Leveling up the P__ed Offed Key
So I've got a level 3 P___ed Off Key. Do I just have to grind for a week or whatever to get it to level 100? I have a drop chance of +87%, should I perhaps wait for it to get higher before grinding it seriously?

Itopod is borderline useless in the early game so you can just go back later when your adenture stats are high enough to 1-hit enemies in the sky zone and you have a higher drop chance bonus and get the key to level 100 in no time (along with a ton of forest pendant and quite a few looty).

Awesome, thanks for the tip!

You will be spending a long time coming back to Sky Zone , so you can just get it maxxed during those times. It's a good zone for boosts, Looty, Pendant, Magic Ball item (not necessarily that you'll use it , depending on your build, but you'll want to max it), Wandoos 98, etc

What is considered early game in respect to itopod because the newbie perks are great early on and the general power perks are amazeballs so far.

"Early game" tends to refer to up to mega land or UUG, or the end of the very quick progress through zones.

Of course you can still get some early perks before reaching that point but the speed of progression tends to leave very little time for itopod because you are constantly farming a zone for items or boosts with little to no time to do something else in adventure mode.

Gotcha. I'm not that far in yet but I've spent a lot of itopod time while doing challenges but yeah definitely prefer to farm when not in one. Mostly in skyland for the os but still haven't finished that key..

time in itopod will hold you back as does trying to max the key. Zones, Zones, Zones, until Megaland. Then you have time and means for basic challenges, farm whatever you are missing really fast, and park in ITOPOD for 1 PP perks (or go straight for UUG, after which you may spend all your time in ITOPOD and the game begins. Remember, higher adventure stats, much better PP income).

Time until Megalands is pretty much tutorial. It's not "a game" yet as you don't really have choices. You function pretty much just as an automated clicker and the game is very active and needy. It's after that where it becomes idle, choices start matter and you will need to develop your personal strategy.

I'd hate to rush to the end then. I'm glad I'm going slower.
15 days in and max boss 81
all 5 basics done
about to finish 3/5 no augs
1/10 24 hours
1/5 no equip

3mil energy
500k magic
all gear maxxed up to clockwork and cook
os lvl 21
fruits up to luck unlocked, through pom able to activate. auto on gold/power.
32 pp spent and I don't feel that I've wasted any time in itopod.

Rather enjoying the game and I play 'many' idlers. Rushing to end game is not fun in any of them..

Mega land/UUG is quite far away from the end game, you need at least several months to even reach the third difficulty when playing as efficiently as possible and it's still not the end of it.

This is good to read. I think I've seen you around a few other idlers I play as well. Common players usually leads to commonly good games.
