Money Pit Iron Pill - "You eat it and gain 0 to your adventure stats!"

I threw a large sum of money into the pit, and for the second time now, I have been rewarded with a 0 increase in my adventure stats. Why is this happening? Is it a display glitch?

It gives a % of iron pill spell with 1 hour's worth of blood - meaning you have to be making blood. An hour's worth of blood when you're making 0 per second, is 0.

So just before you throw gold into the pit, cap all magic spells and turn on blood digger. Doesn't matter what you do with the blood, you just have to be making it.

I reclaim all resources each day, so as to equip yggdrasil boosting equipment, before re-equipping my best equipment, so it's possible I dumped the gold between then, and restarting the blood rituals. Is that what could have happened?
