9 rebirths doesn't sound that bad. But half a week is atrocious. The longest challenge I've ever done took 2h and that was well over the limit I put to myself :)
Edit: Also half a week would just be checking in twice a day. It would likely be done faster if I was playing more hands on. Don't usually keep track of how long it takes for higher boss numbers as theres typically little reason to go above boss 100 or so. I can reach boss 100 in maybe 2-3 hours of hands on play. So 148 is slightly further than I would want to be going.
Speaking of which, I devoted this weekend to challenges and completed (not in this order):
24-hour #5
Troll #5
No rebirth #7 - #10 (#8 and #10 done using sleep time)
Laser Sword #9 - #20 (in a 7-hour marathon!)
Blind #2 - #10 (in a 7-hour marathon!)
NGU #1 - #6
TM #3
I am at 4B energy and got the Slime set.
That is a good weekend.
Do note that it requires higher augment and upgrade levels each time so the god and time can go up quite a bit.
It is trivial if you do them late enough but if you are not earning enough gold and/or have a somewhat weak energy it can be a problem.
To tell the truth, what makes blind challenge an easy and relaxing experience are not things you mentioned but the fact you can do it after few 24h runs. Basically getting acustomed to everything. It would be much more challenging if I started with blind after months of daily rebirths.
Half of things you are suggesting makes the execution problematic. You still need to set those features. For example how would you set the adventure zone without a dropdown (or empty one that is if obfuscating open zones is your point)?
You still need some guidance to execute your learned pattern. Like rebirth time (same goes for your EM timers btw). You can't really take that out. The only result would be using outside chronometr, that would add nothing to the challenge it would be just more annoying.
