You don't really need that challenge's reward until you are at UUG or the zone right before it (mega land).
When you are at that point, you don't really care about boss exp anymore and you can clear the challenge with just a few 3 minutes rebirths, quickly getting all clear rewards before getting back up in the bosses relatively easily.
Of course, if you really want to do the first challenge at least once soon after unlocking it then boss exp will still be worth quite a bit so trading your multiplier for it with 2-3 quick rebirths can be worth it.
Because of this number reset, you can think of it as, it's ok, I'll get EXP from redoing all the bosses. But on the other hand, you may feel frustrated that it might take you a while to get back to the adventure zone you were in. So before doing the challenge, also figure out which adventure zone or Titan you're OK to stop at (ie, get the gear you want).
after that, think about doing the challenges in groupings. I remember for my first time doing challenges, I spent about 2-3 days doing a few of them. I started on a Friday, had the weekend , and then resumed normal rebirths around Monday morning.
During active play time, I might do the challenges that take 30-120 minutes to complete. It took that long for some challenges because I was having fun doing them, and wanted to do them in that session. Others may say you're wasting too much time doing challenges that take too long, because later you can do them so fast, so take your pick on which way you want to go.
When I was afk for several hours, or maybe overnight, is when I did the no rebirth runs so that I could let it go and try to reach the goal boss without rebirthing.
Ideally, you'll be better and stronger, so getting back to the Adventure Zone is just part of the game progress. But from a game play point of view, you might think "this sucks..I was at Boss XXX/Adventure Zone BBB and now it's taking me a while to get back there". But your progress will be fine and you'll eventually get back to where you were, glad that you got some challenges taken care of.
And then the last challenge you can do while you're going back to where you were, is the challenge for defeating the highest boss you can get to.
That way it's easier to "undo" whatever you did if you are not happy with it.
Of course, you could argue that it's save scumming but getting back to your adventure zone can usually take between a few hours to a few days (depending on how far ahead in the bosses you usually were compared to what is required to unlock the adventure zones you need).
if you're still in the first couple of days of playing, then yes, don't need to think about challenges just yet.
i can also say that, i had so much fun playing this game early on that I did restart a 2nd time on another platform (so my first game was continuing on while i started up a 2nd game) to see how much the knowledge I gained, could help out. the 30-mins rebirth gave a slight edge compared to the 1-hour rebirths, especially in regard to the exp. Think of it as gaining 2x exp in the same amount of time playing.
I don't remember at which point moving to 1-hour rebirths was better, but I think I remember that around 28 mins is when you'll reach the point that all your basic trainings finished, so there was an additional benefit to go ahead and rebirth at around 30 mins (again, to speed up the effort in getting the basic training points to go lower and lower over time)
so you might already be at the stage where 1-hour is the recommended rebirth, but if you're not, then you could consider 30-min rebirths.
