Itopod and quests can still probably be helpful as well.
It's no longer the best way (thanks to cards) but if your cube is capped you could start spending some of your exp towards adventure stats as well.
It's the reason I'm now investing in the Wishes for "Kill more bosses" even though it's taking several days for each level. But i've already been killing Exile 4 for a long time now and within the last month or so, reached "It Hungers" v1 , and about 2 weeks ago, The Breadlands.
(As I think about it, probably it's because I haven't done as many challenges as you did for all the bonuses, or I haven't bought a lot of Attack and Defense boosts from EXP. I may have finished a little bit under 1/3 of the challenges, mostly done upon entering Sadistic because I didn't want to reset my number later to re-initiate some more challenges when it was easier to do)
Due to some life circumstances, I let the game run for several days without rebirthing, and I just got back into the NGU Idle game. I'm just hours away from being able to auto-kill It Hunters v2.
What I can think of is this:
1. You say you're in the best gear you can get, but that's not necessarily the gear you should be using.
Do you know about this website page? Put in the stats you want to focus on, such as Adventure Stats, and the gear and levels you have, and it will output what you can wear to maximize your result. I used to think, mostly wear the greatest gear I got my hands on, but the site tells me, nope, use something from back in Zone 3 or Zone 5 to be the best! (for example)
https://gmiclotte.github.io/gear-optimizer/
Along with this page, it means you can now have different load-outs for your equipment for different purposes. So even if you may know about this page already but maybe someone else reading through here, might find it useful.
2. You mentioned "I hit boss 301 weeks ago and rebirthed a few times since". IMO, that should be "I hit boss 301 weeks ago and continually rebirth every day even though I can't go higher on bosses, but still no big progress on Attacking the Titans".
You mention that you recently run the game for 7 days without rebirthing.
What was the reason for that? Do you usually rebirth around every 1 day? Let's say that in the span of 60 days of progress, how many times do you rebirth? For better progress due to your Beards, assuming it finishes around 23 hours, that rebirth count should be closer to 60 to be better, rather than much less than 60.
Well I don't actually know how much impact beards have at this stage, as well as in your individual game with all the bonuses you already worked on. So I can't say definitively you should still be rebirthing on average, once per day.
But here's an example of my BEARd (Adventure) levels . I am at around 33.122 Million levels with 2370.19% active in my current run and 5668.99% permanent bonus. I can run Adventure Stats Digger at level 350 (my current max) which gives an additional 420.51%. This might be different from yours since it's also related to the Time Machine value which is influenced by the Titan or zones I was able to get to.
My Adventure Stats Hack is at 108 milestones, giving 5001.27% bonus.
NGU Adventure Alpha is at 13.055 Million levels, giving 6.180 Million % bonus (with Normal and Evil combined), and NGU Adventure Beta is at 236,249 levels, giving 53,226% bonus (with Normal and Evil combined)
I know there will be some big differences in our play styles that affects all these numbers but it's a way to compare where you are.
Having these adventure stats, but much lower Attack and Defense stats than you, I have not yet reached Boss 300, but I've been able to get auto-kill It Hungers V1 and finished up The Breadzone.
But I think the 2 questions I posed are still valid, to know how the OP has been handling his rebirths and gear optimization.
I do remember at the end of Evil mode, where I was also at boss 301 for a long time, and also finished every Evil mode challenge already, that once I actually went to Sadistic mode, i just thought, "Why didn't I do this sooner?" There are some initial bonuses in Sadistic that can help with a few aspects of the game even if other things become slower again while you ramp up. This includes what I alluded to that you can finish several Sadistic challenges even upon entering Sadistic.
In any case, I can tell you that to beat Exile v4 you basically need every single adventure perk, quirk and wish boost you can get in Evil (except for adv. boost III from the Itopod which is frankly insanely expensive at that point in the game). In fact, even after I had gotten them it was still not enough, in my case I needed to also invest upwards of 10 Billion EXP to my adventure stats and let my beards/ advanced training build up for about a week after which I BARELY managed to get a manual kill. Depending on you Adventure maguffin, hack, NGU and card bonus things might be a bit more lenient for you but fundamentally you need everything to be at a high value. (For reference my Evil NGU adv. is around 1300%, my adv. card bonus is around 250% and my adv. maggufin is around 360% and my adv. hack is 1700% ).
So basically just make sure you prioritize adventure (especially in the cards feature!) and just keep up the grind. Hope this helps.
