Offline progression - Beast and PP

Hello,
two questions.

1. I'm able to autokill beast V3 idle but not V4, only manually.
When I set the level of the beast to V4 (brutal) in online mode, does the game "downgrade" the difficulty in offline mode to the first possible autokill setting or will I not receive XP for the beast (Yes, I always put the highest autokill level manually before quitting the game, so IDK)

2. Is there a loadout for offline PP progression, like respawn stacking or max stats for the highest ITOPOD. I couldn't find any. Does respawn time work in offline mode?

1/ Yes, the game should continue to auto-kill during offline even if you selected a form you can't defeat yet.
If you are in doubt, try it out.
Make two manual saves, one with v3 selected and one with v4 selected before going offline.
After your offline, load the v4 and see if it killed the beast on the right, if not just load your v3 and you won't even need to lose any offline progress.

I wouldn't advise going full itopod progress for your offline (or at other times really), always keep in mind that your NGU levels are very important for your overall progress but itopod simply gets you more and more PP as you progress through the game.

Some respawn is always nice in any loadout, but generally your near-endgame loadout will be when you start to fully stack respawn + whatever else you're working on at the same time (NGUs/hacks/wish/etc) I'd say 2 - 3 of your best respawn pieces is a good guideline for now
