After that, it's mostly about following a ratio of 1:37.5k:1 for the power, cap and bars respectively.
You can sacrifice bars a bit if you want but don't let it fall behind too much because it is what allows you to get your full cap usable in a decent time after rebirthing.
Also, bosses are not really how we indicate progress in this game, they are a source of exp for the early portion of the game before barely being a mean to unlock adventure zones (where the progress takes place).
It doesn't change much since boss 40 means that you are very early into the game but it's good to understand this fairly early so that you don't get stuck into ridiculously long rebirths just to keep increasing it when you would instead want to rebirth more often to farm exp.
When should I rebirth? Like how many times larger than my current number?
Thank you I will definitely not purchase it at this point.
Very early on before the first titan, rebirthing every 30 minutes gives you a lot more exp than waiting for the number to be higher than before for example.
When you're actively playing at the early stages, I recommend rebirth around 30 minutes. your number won't go up significantly but you're doing it for the EXP (when you defeat bosses) and to reduce your Basic Training caps down to 1 .
How long you want to do that, depends on you, but usually I could do that for about 2-3 hours, which I considered active playing the game just like any other game. After that, I'd end my playing session and let it ride for about 21-24 hours before I got back in the next day.
If you play that way, your number would go up high for being about 24 hours before rebirth, and your next session of several 30 min plays would seem like you're going backwards because you're losing your number's value compared to a 24-hour rebirth.
But again, the main thing to realize when playing this way is, you're wanting EXP and wanting to reduce your Basic Training caps. Those are more important than your number at these early stages.
As for spending EXP, get both Energy and Magic speed to 50 without armor bonuses, then decide on how you want to allocate for power/cap/bar ratios for the Energy and Magic. There are many ratios to pick from and they all have their support logic behind it.
