keeping 1 energy in older training is good?
hi, is it good to train up each older skill when training? ive been keeping 1 energy just to keep it progressing, while putting more in the latest tech.

i posted a screenshot here:

(while there is only 100 in the latest ones, most of it is actually currently being used with augments and time generator for gold) :)

Every 20k training levels is +1 training factor for rebirth.

Also, depending on caps for training, it may be more worthwhile to level piercing/charge over ultimate, since they are only 1/4 of it.

How much would 12 energy that is used to train these older skills help out for other things?

(as a guess, id say about 12 times more than what im getting with 1 energy) :)

sorry im still a noob at this game :)

The amount of energy required on each of those to level them at the game engine's maximum speed will go down over time. Well, the reduction for each of them is based on the number of levels earned in each one in each rebirth, and the reduction is limited per each rebirth. But eventually after enough rebirths you'll have all 6 attack skills and all 6 defense skills 1-capped, meaning that a grand total of 12 energy (1 energy on each training) will be all that will be required to level them all at max speed. (I'm not sure offhand exactly what that max speed is supposed to be. Something like 33.5 levels per second, I think?) The entire basic training tab in the game will become a very trivial concern at that point, since 12 energy is practically zero next to the amounts of energy that you'll be dumping into other features.

It's been a long while since I've been at that point in the game where the basic training skills aren't 1-capped, but if I recall correctly... In the tooltip that shows up when you hold the mouse over any of them, the number in the line that says "on rebirth, your new cap will be" will become green when you've reached the maximum reduction for that rebirth. You might keep an eye on that and make sure you're reaching that point on as many of them as possible every rebirth. (So you can trivialize this feature as soon as possible.)

ok thanks, ive only rebirthed a couple of times, and its been a few days since while i try to complete an augment but will try and remember to keep an eye on those too.

Every rebirth the price for trainings goes down by 0-10% based on the level it had before rebirth (consult tooltip for when it's maxed - it turns green - and only then you should rebirth).

Your very first priority task in NGU is to lower the cost of each and every training to 1. That means every training only needs 1 energy to be capped - gaining 50 level/s. If you do it right it only takes 1-2 days until all trainings can be capped while not consuming all your energy. and leaving some to spare elsewhere.

Do the 30mins rebirths, that's the time when all trainings should be "green". Anything longer just delays the inevitable. (The 30mins-1h rebirths are the best for very loooong time. Don't fall to the trap of doing super long rebirths, no matter how "good" idea it may seem. Adapt it to your real life of course but short rebirths will always be priority until much later.)

Do not care about number too much really, let it go up and down (especially when you rebirth after longer period, like a sleep, stick to short rebirths when you can even when it means lower number due to shorter rebirth). Number is not your progress. XP is. Your energy power/cap and the gear from adventure zones is what matters most.

cool thanks for that - it's been 4 days since my last one - i better do it more often :)
