Can't unlock hyper regen

Hi,

I started some time ago along with a friend and we've measured our progress side-by-side. Weeks ago they unlocked the Hyper-Regen skill and I did not. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time as I figured I would pick it up at some point.

I'm currently at the point of trying to kill Uug for the first time and I feel like having Hyper Regen would help a lot with the sustain along with the heal skill. (The Uug riddle is solved and a non-issue).

I'm aware the hyper regen skill comes from the red liquid from the corrupted tree, however i've never had it drop. For the record, I have it visible in my item list which implies I had it drop once while my inventory was full, but i've yet to physically see one. For comparison, the friend i started with now has their liquid up to level 25.

Is there a known bug related to this if I missed the liquid on the first try? or is it sheer bad luck that I have not seen it drop with near to 1000 kills?

You might want to check your basic item filter's settings, the mysterious red liquid is under the "misc" category and since there aren't that many items in that category it is entirely possible that you are filtering them.

It is also a rare drop so your drop chance matters quite a bit.

I don't recall how the basic item filter works, or if I can even access it any more? As i currently use the advanced item filter and the red liquid is definitely not filtered, even toggled it on and off a few times to make sure

Found the basic item filter again and turned it off as a precaution (advanced one overrides it anyway) ill see if I notice a difference

depends on your drop chance, normally you don't wear items with it if you are not farming. Also your kill count is much lower, don't be that harsh on "bad luck". Base chance it just 1%.

Advanced one does not override it. It is activated if item bypasses the basic filter. But if it was filtered by basic it still remains filtered even if it is not set in advanced.

For example, if you filter all weapons in basic filter and some fixed weapon in advanced all weapons will be filtered out, not just the one that you have selected in advanced.

After you got advanced filter you should set "Loot filter" and "Filter titan loot" in options to Off and only use advanced filter after that. There is no reason to use basic filter anymore. Also set "Autoboost recycled boosts" to On in option to reduce inventory clutter so that you don't have full inventory when auto-killing titans (this option applies all tiers of recycled boost on auto-boost timer at once instead of only the highest one and leaving lower tier in your inventory if it spawns). That is unless you still need lower level boosts to upgrade them to level 100.

Alrighty ill keep trying and just have to live with the fact that maybe im just 1 unlucky lady.

As a side note, Uug is going down quite comfortably now without the regen, just took a little bit longer to get there
