Also, there is a speed cap for gaining beard levels. Meaning that you can have powerful enough resources to have all beards gaining levels at max speed.
1) energy and magic domains are separated
2) if you run 2 it's not "/2" division, the beardverse set bonus makes it "/1.8"
3) beards gain has diminishing returns (the more levels the slower they get) which translates to 4000 levels = 3000 + 3000
1. You only get the active bonus for currently active beards (active bonus and permanent bonus are separate, permanent bonus is always applied). If you run one beard for a while, and during the same rebirth, you switch to a different beard, you lose the active effect of the first beard until you switch back. You'll need a beard slot for each beard that you want active at the same time. For example, you might want Neckbeard and BEARd active together for farming gear.
2. When you rebirth, you only get permanent bonuses for beards that are active at the time of rebirth. You only have one slot, but you worked on all 7 beards in a single rebirth? Sorry, all those levels are wasted.
having multiple beards on is more beneficial than 1 beard even if you aren't fullspeeding through your beard
in reality, you could pick and choose which ones to grow when you don't have all beard slots, and you'll still progress just fine, but when you have all beard slots, there is no reason not to run all of them all the time.
