I wish I would understand wishes 0/100 level......
I tried to look after it in this forum but ... I don`t know what to do. Do I buy 3rd ressource know? If yes what ratio? But more importantly: How do I devide my ressources between time maschine, ngu, hacks and wishes? I NEED Time machine for my diggers, I NEED energy and magic for ngu. And there is so much cool stuff to get with hacks and wishes. And what is the right ratio for wishes? And ... I can`t even get my questions straight.

Can someone try to help me?

1) the proper ratio (especially for supporting wishes which is what you should do) is 1 R3 for every 100k energy.

1b) just to be sure your proper ratio of all EMR is very close to 1:37.5k:(what ever-I've chosen 0.33-targeting 10-15mins). There is a slightly more effective ratio but I will let that for you to discover. But this is what you should be using from now on. To support wishes and NGU.

2) you are at GM, capping NGU is your priority (and getting all beard banks if haven't already).

3) wishes looses their strength with sqrt of EMR. So the "best" ratio is split each of resources even. Every resource spent on wishes will have that sqrt diminishing returns. That means that having alllocated just 1% or each EMR into a wish makes it run at 1/10th speed of what they would run if you've spent all EMR in that single wish => ALWAYS run all wish slots you have, equally, no matter how little EMR they get

4) use EXP mainly for E/M for now. Until you can all NGU and cap TM (with all banks purchased - by that time you should have all beards banks and most if not all TM ones

5) TM (diggers) have steep way up so you don't need to spend many resources there. Allocate either 10% EM or even better - allocate 100% for first hour or so, then nothing (so you don't need to care about rising gold all day long).

6) NGU might take anywhere between 40-60% (they should cap soon enough, around GM V2-V3?) and the rest for wishes (that makes is 10-15% EM each if you have all 4)

7) hacks.. well, these are different. First and foremost, don't try to run them all the time. It won't work well. The math behind them is simple: every 90 levels they require double R3. And as the bonuses you get from them are constant per level you can always see what you get for those 90 levels. It's not much. So it's better to do dedicated pushing runs along with this pattern:

- buy only EM until you have like 1.5x - 2x more then what R3 ratio tells you, use all R3 in wishes, use pure wish gear (you will be getting many pieces with wish OR hack stat on them; use NGU gear before cap), use gear optimizer for that - now it's the time you should start using it. Screw hacks.

- once it's "enough". Switch for R3 purchases. Get them in line with E/M, exceed it as far as you can (again 1.5x-2x is a good measure). Support it with focus on all R3 purchases (perks, quirks, wishes). When you have enough do a hack run. Put all your hack/R3 gear on (again, use optimizer for "hacks"), turn on both boosters and do 2 days long run (to save on rebirth booster). During 2 days run you will be able to round all primary hacks (adv, hacks, QP, PP, EXP) to 2min/level and all the rest to 1min/level (it usually brings me 500-600 levels). Then go back for bullet 7a) (Hack will go to 16-40mins/level so you can see it's not worth it).

- obviously start with hacks hacks up to the max tier you target (2mins/level for 2 days rebirth) - remember: every 90 levels double the time

- it's best to plan these runs along other opportunities - like doing challenge run and do the hack run during that 4-days rebirth bringing back your banks again - but you have to be prepared obviously (4days run will get you 4min/level for primaries and 2min/level for the rest)

- while boosters are expensive, they help a lot and are the reason for hack runs. Rebirth one makes it double (effectivelly purchases you another 90levels, simple as that), 24h ones are tripple! (further affected by blue heart bonus!). Together they are worth 300 levels of hacks. That's what you get for the price. Constant +300 levels. If you pay the price every hack run (every 1.5months or so).

That's for the "plans"

For example what I do is start every rebirth with an hour of active play:

- first 15 minutes I use "start loadout" - quests mainly (meaning all quest+respawn items I have), augments/bars secondary - to build up EMR, I allocate everything in augments and blood (I mind you this is for sadistic where blood is not capped) and am doing daily major quests.

- after 15mins I don't need EM bars/augments so I switch more quests (+respawn) items and allocate everything in TM (and like 3%/3%/25% into capped "useless" wishes I left behind exactly for this purpos)

- and after an hour mark (when I equip gold items for few seconds titan kill) I switch to full wish/respawn (and some NGU for you) and have everything in wishes (that would be that 60% NGU until capped and 40% wishes for you). At around 1h I also finish all 4-5 major daily quests, get to ITOPOD for the rest of the day with only real attention on switching wishes and keeping money pit fed.

Wow, I am so incredibly far over the line if that's the advice. I'm in sadistic (waiting to be ready to start fighting It Hungers) but I hadn't seen anyone say that before. I'm at 745B base energy cap and 87M base R3 cap (or... 8563 energy for every 1 R3). I thought that R3 was still my weak link, but according to that 100k guideline I ought to only have 7.45M base R3 cap right now.

Hmmm... I wonder where I'm at right now with ratios anyway. (I kind of just do whatever, sometimes.) For a while (I think through all of sadistic so far, at least) I've had custom purchases set up at: 200k epow / 1B ecap / 50k ebar / 200k mpow / 1B mcap / 50k mbar / 10 r3pow / 100k r3cap / 10 r3bar. Generally clicking each resource's "buy all" an equal number of times as each other. But I have made other purchases outside of those ratios too. Anyway... My actual bases that I've built up are 209M epow / 745B ecap / 43M ebar / 154M mpow / 595B mcap / 33M mbar / 7700 r3pow / 87M r3cap / 7700 r3bar. So overall... I've got 4.86 epow / 17325 ecap / 1 ebar, and I've got 4.67 mpow / 18030 mcap / 1 mbar, and I've got 1 r3pow / 11299 r3cap / 1 r3bar.

With current gear (optimizer selection built for wishes) and other current bonuses, my TOTAL caps are at about 3.5e17 ecap / 3.6e17 mcap / 8.6e10 r3cap. I doubt that anything I do can be called efficient in any way, but lately I tend to put energy values in the e15 range on most of the augments (leaving the last augment alone though, and I don't care if it's not optimal to spread energy around in multiple augments), e16 energy and magic on time machine, e16 energy and magic on wandoos (meh), first 4 blood rituals capped (total magic somewhere in e16 or e17 range), sadistic NGUs leveling with e15 on of them, about 1e9 r3 in each hack (except the wish hack gets 1e10), and whatever's left (looks like... about 2/3 of my energy and magic, and about 3/4 of my r3) gets spread between wishes.

I've got hack levels as high as 4638 (that's the atk/def hack) and as low as 3470 (that's the wish hack). In wishes I've been working on the tier 5 versions of the EMR3 pow/cap/bars, the tier 2 faster NGUs / faster mayo / faster cards, the tier 3 better tags, the better major quest rewards, and the better sadistic boss multiplier. (Jumping around between wishes as they level up to try to focus on whichever ones will be quicker to get to the next level.)

It's the ratio from EXP cost. 100k:1 E:R3, or 300k:100k:3 E:M:R3.

Thank you for this great answer, Elenoe. There are a lot of pointers which make sense to me.
