Order of autoboost for accessories?

I know it says which order gear is boosted when autoboost is turned on, but I have 10 different accessory slots. Which equipment gets boosted first? Does it start upper-left corner, then goes right and down? Does it start in the upper-right, and go down then right? Does a random number generator decide which unboosted gear gets the coveted boost? I just can't figure it out.

Never looked too closely, but I think it starts in the top right and moves down that column first, going over to the next column to the left when everything is all maxed.

It's certainly not assigning them at random. I know that on several different occasions when I've had multiple accessories to boost I've noticed only one at a time soaking up all the boosts while all others remain untouched.

it's "snake like". Same order as you get the slots.
