Base Energy Speed.

Does it have any use to push it beyond 50?

When it reached 50 it filled the bar whole without flickering, so if I can push it to 100 does it double then? or is it just an Exp pit that is left in.

Base Power, Cap and Bars are currently 100 - 10M - 100 (for those that are interested in it)

If you attempt to buy any more speed beyond 50 a message will pop up saying that you can't do that because you're already at the maximum. (You gain nothing, but you don't spend any of your exp either.) And it will advise that you can purchase bars if you want to improve your energy generation.

I don't know why the speed purchase buttons remain when they no longer have any function. That's just the way it is.

It is a waste to raise it above 50 since the cap for the total is 50 (even is you raise the base above that the total will remain at 50.
It is "bars" that allow you to buildup to your cap faster as it is how much is added to the idle pool and max (up to the cap) each time the bar is filled.

There are various ratios you can use for power:cap:bars but yours sound a bit sub-par as it heavily favours cap over the rest.

With the exp costs, the game is hinting you at 1:37.5k:1.875 as the ratio that you might want to use but you can easily make the bars go down to 1 in that ratio until you unlock beards.
There are various other ratios that people came up with, usually favouring power over cap and bars, they are mostly fine but they do sacrifice a few things in order to benefit quite a lot of features (so they are about min-maxing).

Oh ... I haven't even tried it so I thought better ask it first before I waste the exp on that.

I prefer round numbers an annoying and against me working nack I know. The only reason the Cap is so high was to automate the Fruit of ... wisdom? ... Nope Pomegranate. The devide will stay sub-par because I think I will try to keep the Base numbers like that. Equipment can trow it off balance all it wants.

As long as it is a choice you made with full knowledge of what it implies (like the fact that it takes a while to reach your cap after a rebirth and that most features will be a bit slower than for people with the same equipment) it is completely fine.
It's an idle game meant to be played over the course of many months so not wanting to stress about efficiency only means reaching the grind at the end of the game later.

Just 25 min or so, not that bad. My equipment tripels it

I do pay attention to it so that it is filled within 30 min.
