But I also consider Walderp fun. It doesn't take long of doing him manual. Failing doesn't mean any loss. And he (same as troll and blind) is predictable so it's hard to fail if you focus a bit.
(And to be on topic... so far I only dislike the guess game around titans unlocking, I pretty much prefer "logical" puzzles, but we have wiki, so no harm done :) )
Unfortunately, his gear has a 0.5% base drop rate, his respawn timer is long enough to be annoying, and (as usual) you can't really afford to swap in any of his gear until you have all of it due to changes in allocation of auxiliary stats.
The Troll - Challenge is optional but Walderp isn't in order to progress. Since i'm no American, i didn't even know the rules before reading the guide here on Steam. I am somewhat aware, through american TV - Shows, that a kidsgame called "Simon says" exists, but i never knew the actual rules, because we don't have that here. That makes it a bit extra annoying (for me).
I wasn't sure if i should post about it, because i really appreciate the creative effort of that feature. It is what makes NGU stand out. But this one really isn't as enjoyable for me and others. Blocked progress is a bit frustrating.
Since there are no suggestions so far, i personally wouldn't mind to "buy" myself out of it (the fluff, not the Titan itself) for a reasonable amount of AP or EXP. It wouldn't be the first "I'm too lazy for this .... - perk", so it should work for everyone?
Since trolls in the last one come out every 75 seconds and every 5th troll is a big one you get a big troll every 6 minutes 15 seconds, meaning that you need to wait for the big troll every other rebirth but if you do it properly big trolls barely impact your progress.
The whole "simon says" is a bit different depending on your country of origin but it is a kid's game that should exist in many countries in one form or another since the core of it is about teaching how phrases are formed and how just changing a very small part of it changes the meaning entirely.
Of course since it's a game most kids won't think about that but you learn to listen attentively to what the other person says since you don't want to lose.
You certainly does not want to try Walderp while you care about your HP and have to switch to healing and blocking sometimes. It is much easier when you can just focus on attack or wait for his phrase. You start a challenge, wait till his first phrase, do as he says or not do it, then unleash all attack skills on him - 1 ultimate, 2 strong and 2 pierce, several basic attacks. After ultimate comes off cooldown you stop attacking and wait for the next phrase. He uses his phrase in fixed periods so unless you are in a hurry and still attacking or healing/blocking you shouldn't have a problem with it and all your skills will be off cooldown.
And searching does not seem like a huge problem for me personally - I just went through all menues twice for each kill, that's all. Somehow he didn't appear in them on the first time.
Troll's challenge on the first run was much more annoying. Still was enjoyable at the end when I finally managed to finish it.
