Didn't get the reward for completing an item set?

I completed the cheese and mole hammer item set, maxed all the items up to lvl 100 but didn't get the reward for maxing out thte set. The item list even shows that I completed the set, yet I didn't get the reward for it. I did get rid of most of the lvl 100 items from the set before getting my mole hammer to lvl 100. Do I need the entire set at lvl 100 in my inventory at the same time in order to get the reward?

Are you sure you didn't get it without noticing?
It should be pretty obvious if you look at your "base magic power" from the exp spending screen since it is unlikely that you spent exp on that stat yet.

Actually, I might've made a mistake and gotten the reward earlier and I might have accidentally maxing out the same item twice? I just maxed out the magitech set and have 134k magic power right now, so I probably got the boost to my base magic power earlier. I didn't really spend much exp boosting it, so I can't really think of any ways I boosted my magic power to that level.

That sounds like the "total" rather than the "base", and it even sounds like the cap rather than power, especially at that point in the game.

sometimes the tool tip didn't show up, maybe something else was happening at the same time. especially if you moved the mouse to something else that would show a tool tip also.

you can check the tool tip history in the "settings" to see that you actually did get the reward.

you can check to see if its complete by hovering over one of the items in the set in the 'Item List' page in the Inventory
