Go to adventure mode, go to the zone in question and move your mouse to the bar at the top that has the zone's name with a joke in parenthesis.
The tooltip for that will tell you useful informations (depending on the zone there can be more or less informations).
The informations that matter to you at that point are "boost drop chance" and "boss drop chance".
When numbers are green it means you reached the cap for that zone (20% for boost drop chance and 10% for boss drop chance for that particular zone).
If you prefer the math, boss drop chance has a base of 0.009% for that zone, so:
0.009 * (20711/100) = 0.009 * 207.11 = 1.86399
So your current boss drop chance in that zone should be around 1.86% if I didn't mess the math, which means that it is a bit low if you intend to farm that zone for its drop right now.
I don't know how far along you are in the itopod perks, yggdrasil and NGU so it's hard to say for sure but it is at least worth looking around on all of the features you have unlocked and see if you didn't miss something (beards, diggers, NGU, blood magic, itopod, equipment).
4.31% is higher then I had going in, I think each new zone for me was 1-2% at most, I honestly forget if I was itopod at this point of it I was offline idleing the game still...
you can still go with 1.x drop chance and keep using time in the zone, but certainly a higher chance would be better.
just think of it how you did BDW. the first time you were able to manual or idle in that BDW zone, you probably still had a pretty low drop chance. over time, it rises and eventually you start getting more and more items.
from now on, most or all of the subsequent zones will be like that.
if you are just farming boosts, you may get better results from Beardverse or BDW, since you can kill those targets much faster.
