Thoughts on farming evilverse vs powering to greasy nerd

So, at least what I read, farming evil verse isn't worth it due to drop chance nerf/change in how things drop severely impacting how fast you get things, i'm going to be gearing up for idle evil verse next rebirth to get at least one if not both accessories, but looking at the armor stats, even if I burn a solid week farming a 4x boost to total energy ngu and a 6x boost to magic total ngu.

given there are guides that say just skip it till greasy nerd I figured I would ask, I want to get both accessories regardless if I farm a full 100 set of gear just because that would be an overall bonus considering what I would be replacing.

Focusing on PP, especially when kills on evilverse would take very long is definitely not a bad thing, but you should make your decision based on your drop chance on that zone and how long it takes per kill rather than completely skipping it.

The increase in stats from the chocolate set is still 47% so it is not exactly something negligible, if your stats allow you to get it relatively fast it will definitely help, the main point that these guides are trying to make is that itopod is a much better place to spend your time in early evil if your drop chance and power stats are so low that you would get at best a few drops per hour.

rough numbers form when I did the chocolate grind would say it would take 4 days to max the gear, but at the same time, I have a significantly higher drop chance now even without min maxing drop chance then I did when I did chocolate and I may be able to push it higher ttk would probably be around the same, maybe a little worse by the end of the chocolate grind I was 2 shoting the enemies, evil may take a few more kills if I do it now.

yea, a few days away from grinding pp to boost ngu by that much I think is worth it.

It depends on whether Pretty Princess Land is within reach. I was able to beat boss 100, which unlocks it, relatively easily, and could immediately idle there. That gear at level 0 is comparable to maxed out Chocolate gear. So, if you can push through to there in a day or two, and are able to handle the enemies, you should probably ignore Evilverse and do that. If it seems like it would take a long time to get there, then maybe Evilverse gear is worth getting, but I think most people are probably going to be better off skipping it. Just get the accessories for now, then grind them up later.

will have to consider it when I am able to get to boss 100, i need the 24h temp fruit to be able to hit it at the moment, not sure where my stats will be at that point, not sure how long it will take to get idleable in evil either, but ppp seems like it would be at least a 1-2 day prep to just get to manual at the moment. I am considering the weapon from there as an upgrade even at level 0,

either way, I need evilverse for at least the two accessories, and while they are good at 0 and immediate upgrades, the longer I stay there the better they get and they seem quite good.

given where i'm at at 18 hours in, I have no chance of ppp, I can manual a kill for some more gold multipliers, but i'm so far off from idle its a non starter

You'll have plenty of time to kill for evil and princess gear crawling up to boss 160 for godmother. Bout where I'm at.

depends entirely on drop chance as ppp has, because by the time I can idle ppp I will also be able to kill greasy nerd, and that gear is nearly an upgrade from level 0 taking edgy gear at 100 into account.

That said, probably going to make this run a 2-3 day to max out edgy, I could probably do it in 5-7 if I respawn, but that's also 5-7 days i'm out of pp grinding, it will suck missing the first harvest bonus for a while but I think its a worth while trade off given kill speed and being able to minimize the farm

got 2 pieces nearly 100, they are 1 and 2 pieces off max, most of the gear is a respectable upgrade now, so taking a break for evilverse to get those pieces boosted up, im expecting to nearly full cap all ngus with em to spare
