getting to badly drawn world
There seems to be a fairly large gap between beard and badly drawn world where even if I have a full maxed out set of walderps good set the gap would still be fairly large with no real way to close it easily.

the only way I see of really closeing the gap would be to put about 1-1.6 million exp into adventure stats.

am I missing something that should be obvious or is getting access to badly drawn world just that much of a time sink?

what do you consider "that much of a time sink"?

I'm pretty sure i skipped walderps stuff completely by going back to the sky and farming king looty which took about 4 - 5 days ended up with about 40% drop rate for looty per boss and i was averaging about 16 per day although it did require fairly frequent checks i had to come back to the game about once an hour to put a new looty in my 1 auto boost slot but once i had king looty and a maxed cane (not the candy cane just the regular one with no specials on it) I just steamrolled into the badly drawn set took me like a day and a half or 2 days to farm it.

If a week is "that much of a time sink" then yes it is that much of a time sink.

That remains constant from where you are forward it takes about 5 - 10 days to unlock each new area badly drawn - boring ass earth - the beast - chocolate - evilverse part of the problem is that the impactful features are frontloaded macguffins don't really get any value till about mid evil and the next feature you unlock is pretty marginal as well.

Just gotta keep boosting your ngu adventure stat and u'll get there, whether you choose to farm looty or not.

Beards of Power (BEARd)
NGU (Adventure Alpha & Drop Chance)
Ygg (Adventure)
Blood Magic (Iron Pill)

The time sink gets longer gradually.
30 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours, 24 hours. 3 days(?). 1 week(?).

I do remember that the gap looked bigger than it was.
First make sure that you have a level 100 fully boosted Wanderer's Cane.
Aside from that: spend some time leveling the BEARd, raise your NGU if you can, pump all your energy in advanced trainings for few hours. If you have the motivation start sniping bosses as soon as you can to get the Badly Drawn Gun.

Spending exp to raise adventure stats isn't a good idea until evil (and not even that early in evil).

I just came off a 100 day push because a new goal was always within reach, I did the looty grind in that time and thought it was fairly fast, tedious, but fast, but in trying to push into badly drawn world, or even getting stats to the point that I could idle waldrep, that just isn't happening, but now i'm actually kind of close to walderp idling, but even then its a .3 for rare and a 14 for normal loot...

my math puts that at about 15~ kills for feet and legs if those are the next to things to drop,

going back and doing challenges I could helped quite a bit, but pushing the manual numbers for it this way seems like its going to take weeks to be able to break in.

forgot about the wanders cane, get that to 100 and dont transform it... should work. idleing walderp when I can mixed with boosting infinity cube may make up the difference a bit, just with the downside of no pp gain for a week or so

SNIP

Long rebirths are bad and will actually stop you from progressing at a reasonable pace. If you have just come off a 100 day rebirth that means that you haven't had any beard progress like at all which will severely hamper you for quite a while.

For reference I have been playing this game for 130 days i play for about 15 minutes when i wake up and about 5 minutes after 3 hours of waking up I rebirth once a day and i'm about a third of the way through evil difficulty.

I know people say this on the forums and discord and wiki quite a bit but if you hadn't done a 100 day rebirth and had instead done 100 1 day rebirths you'd probably be @ at least beast v4 right now (i did spend about 4 hours on 5 or 6 of those days doing challenges so if you don't do that it will set you back a bit).

If you don't have time to rebirth once a day then do 2 day or 3 day rebirths whatever you have time for but try to rebirth as often as you can after 24 hours or 12 hours if you don't have level 24 fruits yet which you don't cause no way do you get troll 3 done before the badly drawn set is obtained.

Edi: i'm dumb don't do 12 hours either 12 hour rebirths are only good if you get the time reduction on beards before you get fruit upgraded. basically 24 hours is good

On the bright side, if you somehow survived the 100+ days until you've got to Walderp you've already experienced much (much) longer delays then what is common up until 9th Titan at the end of Evil difficulty.

If you continue with strictly 24h rebirth from now on you will progress much faster (except the fact that your 100days rebirths cost you progress and you are pretty much at UUG). But with another 100 days you can reach 8th titan without problems.

PS. Don't buy adventure stats at all, that's another noob trap. E/M is the important thing all the way up.

lol, already close to a 2 day due to getting one of my yggdrasill plants to 24 and wanting to see what it yields.

Don't forget Advanced Training for adventure stats. 20k is around 500% bonus.

Can feel your pain pal. Got the same position 1 month ago. Now looking back, some points may be considered:
1. try to max energy NGU adventure / drop chance. and please also notice the number could still go up after you reach level 1000. I'm now in level 144000 and got 1306% in adv stats.
2. check if there's any challenges could help and also not hard to complete. (eg, could complete in less than 4 hrs).
3. prepare a long time for adv training upgrades. you can also consider to use energy potion to boost the energy power in order to short the time.
