I don't agree with that guide around the energy and magic ratios (they are ultra-specialized, leaving some features significantly under-powered, which is also why it lowers beards) but overall it has a lot of pretty good tips.

Don't blindly follow it (or other advices/guides) and adapt things to how you play.
The wiki can help a whole lot as it is full of informations to help you understand all of the features, which helps in making decisions and adapt guidelines to how you play (for example some people send quite a bit of time offline, some hate short rebirths and so on).

I focused on Yggdrasil, taking Crappy Perk, the Seed perks, and First Harvest right after the newbie perks, and I don't regret it. Yggdrasil is time-gated more heavily than almost everything else in the game - no matter how strong you get, you can't really speed it up other than by getting whatever bonuses are available as soon as they become available. So, that's what I do.

I did Crappy before Seed, then Boosts, daycare, inventory, First harvest bonus, Wandoos, digger, and then titan exp.
Right now I'm saving up for true quest idling and then gooder quest idling.

I think it varies based on how you can play. I can leave my game open all day but not interact with them very much. So that's why I want the Quest idling.

After the quest ones I plan to finally get NGUs or accessory slot
