Need some suggestions about Quirk Points
Just bought all Baby's First Quirk, so what's next? They look all, emm, not very powerful in short term and expensive for fully upgrading.
Maybe Adventure Boost?

You can't go wrong with the "beasted boosts" (having more potent boosts is always better after all), the beast's seed and fertilizer help with your fruits (the fertilizer means that they take a bit less than a full 24h to reach rank 24 so it makes it a lot more convenient), you also have the 6 "generic" quirks for the energy and magic stats.
When you are done with all of that you should already be at least very close to evil difficulty which opens your options a lot.

I just did the baby ones, then the beast seed since I'm still trying to get my fruits to 24 hours.
I've done a few into adventure, but I'm not trying to max it immediately.

Thank you Fel, again. I think I will go Seed and Fertilizer first, then Boosts.

And more question about 4G's Shop. I can buy Orange Heart now (+20%QP) and I already got other Hearts I need, so I'm not sure about it. What about a Digger Slot or a MacGuffin Slot, even a Accessory Slot, which take effect immediately.

Yggdrasil is good :steamhappy:

Macguffins are marginal until quite a bit later unless you specifically farm them and do rebirth at 30 minutes and even then it's usually not worth it in normal difficulty.
Doing 30 minutes rebirths for challenges (to also take advantage of the itopod perks that activate your fruit of power beta and number) is not a bad idea if you want to capitalize on macguffins, but you would first want to level them to around 100 (since there are diminishing returns for most of them past level 100).

As a result, you tend to want the digger slots and hearts at that point in the game instead since they give you more direct returns.

The faster questing (getting major quests faster) and extended quest bank (from 10 to 50 major quests that you can store, letting you do major quests in bulk every 10 days or so instead of every 2 days) are also not bad since quests can take quite a bit of your time so storing major quests and doing them in one go (usually over the course of a bit over a day for 50 major quests) makes it a bit less annoying.

Thank you so much, really help a lot!

Keep in mind that in most circumstances when you come across a percentage-based increase in something, it's multiplied with all other bonuses. The 1% doesn't really seem like much until you start stacking it up on all the other bonuses simultaneously being applied to the entire deal.

You're right. Maybe my PP/QP farm speed is still not fast enough for me to make a wise decision. Not sure about those expensive parts, looks risky :steamfacepalm:

What that means is that the "generic" energy and magic perks/quirks are extremely powerful even if they appear a bit weak at first with 1% per level.
And since each of those perks/quirks also multiply each others (generic energy power perk I and generic energy power perk II multiply each others so 100 levels in both mean that your energy power gets multiplied by 4) it quickly snowballs out of control.

When you don't really know where to put your PP or QP it's never a bad idea to go for the ones that boost up your energy and magic stats.

Awesome information! I don’t know they can multiply. Now I get what you said about powerful :D

You might want to take a look at the stats breakdown pages (you can access that either from the inventory or from "info 'n stuff"), most bonuses in this game are multiplicative, and outside of enemy respawn (multiplicative but with numbers going down instead of up so the effect get reduced by being multiplicative instead of snowballing) this means that getting a few percents from all sources is really good.

This is also why macguffins can be quite decent later on when you have them at high level (and a lot of slots to equip all of them except the beard ones), but initially they get their bonuses so slowly that farming quests or itopod ends up giving you more.
Edwin Feb 8, 2020 @ 9:57am
I know the breakdown. But I thought all perks work as one bonus by addition and they only multiply with other source, like equipments or quirks :lunar2019laughingpig:

When you get to to evil difficulty you will unlock a new tier of NGUs (the same ones but much harder to level and with lower bonuses per level), and the bonuses there also multiply each other.

That being said there are a few perks that add up instead of multiply, all of the "slot" ones obviously but also the "bank" (they are expressed in percentages like the ones that multiply but those add up their percentage).

And the best part is that you don't have to blindly trust me either, with the numbers in the breakdown you will be able to clearly check yourself by grabbing some of the second tier of the generic energy/magic perks in itopod.

Got it :ss13ok:

After Babies', I went:
Beast's Seed
Generic I (Energy/Magic Power then Cap&Bar)
Beasted Boost I

Once I got to Evil:
AT / Beard Bank I & II

Up to that point, I just use Idle mode.
Once I could cap the first 4 eNGU & 2 mNGU, I saved up for Beast NGU (the 15k one).
===

Gold ; Beard Tonic.
Just one (for that multiplier). On hindsight, I find it to be low priority.

Beast Fertilizer.
I don't care about the reduction (yet?). 9k is a lot.
I'd rather put that somewhere else (Generic & Adv stats).
