Day care or just farming forest?

Seems second option is better but i would want to have your advice.

I ended up throwing mine in the daycare. It only takes 2 hours a level so you'll be looking at around a week until its maxed. I say throw it in daycare and if you want to have it ready quicker you could also farm the forest for it

If you have good drop chance then the forest zone is not a bad idea, but the best is not "or" but "and".
The fastest way to get the ring to level 100 is to thow one into daycare, farm the forest zone and when you are going to use the money pit equip one (just in case you get lucky and get the free level on an equipped item).

Later on when you need the ring again (but at a specific level instead of 100) the forest will be the best place by a large margin because your drop chance will have increased a lot.

If you go for farming the forest zone, equipping drop chance and respawn accessories will hep you get it faster.

If you have a looty (or a higher version of it) they also increase drop chance (20% at level 100 for looty mc lootface, 80% at level 100 for sir lootymc lootington III, up to 6,000% at level 100 for the current last tier supreme intelligence looty).

On top of the equipment, you have a drop chance digger, blood spaghetti (blood magic), fruit of luck and NGU drop chance at that point.
Not all of them allow a big increase quickly but if you are looking to increase your drop chance bonuses you will want to get all of those up.

I wasn't aware drop rate affected the ring, thought it was based purely on highest boss killed.

It's a different drop that has that mechanics (flubbers).
