The reason is that by levelling basic trainings you reduce their cap after the next rebirth, with a maximum reduction of 10% of the current number (rounded up).
As you continue to do this, you will be able to cap more of them, gaining more attack and defense stats while needing to spend less and less energy on it.
The maximum speed is 1 tick per level (which means 50 levels per second), and the energy required to reach that (the cap) can be brought down to 1 for each, meaning that you will eventually only need a grand total of 12 energy to train all basic trainings at maximum speed.
At the same time, your maximum energy will also go up (to 100,000 without accounting for equipment bonuses) as the energy bar in the top left corner fills up over and over (if you spend energy into energy speed up to a maximum of 50 it will go a lot faster as well), so you will have more energy and less needed to level basic trainings, allowing you to use your energy elsewhere as you wish.
What this means is that no matter if you distribute your energy or focus on one at a time, you want to get all of them to maximum cap reduction every rebirth (or at least as much as possible).
