If you want to defeat it with idle attacks, you need 2,300 power and 2,100 toughness, and for auto-kill you need 3,000 and 2,500.
Go back to the high security gear and level up your gear to raise the cap of its stats (at level 100 you can have double the stats of level 0) and use boosts to power it up to its new stat cap.
It is not wasted since there are a lot of items or groupd of items that have a 1-time reward for levelling the to 100 for the first time.
Also to consider is the advanced training that you unlock when you unlocked all basic trainings in that rebirth, the first 2 entries give you a boost to adventure stats that is lost on rebirth but that is increasingly important as you keep going up to higher and higher zones.
After you kill him once you get much better equip than magitech (which is from high security base), so investing boosts into magitech is a waste if you already have enough stats. Just try manual battle few times to understand how it works and which skills you need, which ones you don't. If you lose a battle you can quickly recover in safe zone and try again.
Learning how manual battle works is helpful because you will be able to get first few items from next area earlier than you will be ready for it in idle mode. And those items are usually better than max items from previous area, so after using few boost on them it will be possible to equip them and gain stat increases.
I just killed Grand Corrupted Tree which has recommended stats of 5k each with 4200 power and 3800 defense. To kill it in idle mode I would need at least 1.5x more stats.
