New NGU Guide

Hey all, just finished the first part of my guide which covers the path through Normal difficulty fairly in depth. I'll be adding more as time goes on, but wanted to post it for all of you out there just starting with the steam release.

UPDATE 10/6/19

Added a few early game sections that were missed, as well as some more links to the wiki where relevant. Midgame updates have begun in earnest, thanks for your patience.

Some spelling and clarity has been fixed. Will be starting to add the mid game stuff starting over the weekend. Goal is to have all of midgame updated by 10/11/19.

oh hey thanks for writing this up, reading through this now in fact. edit: "Get your energy speed up to 10, then get your energy per bar (now called EPB) up to 2." reading this and working my way tword it i feel like im starting a very long journey aren't i... i feel this great maw sucking me in like a hobby or a whirlpool i cant tell..

Where in there does it talk about auto merge? I have it but it dont seem to be working and I was thinking if it does what I thought it did.

Automerge I hadn't put in the guide thinking the tooltip said enough, but I probably should add the things it doesn't cover. Automerge only merges items in your inventory with items you have equipped + automerge slots if youve unlocked them (which wont happen til midgame or later). It does not merge items in your inventory with other items in your inventory on its' own without those slots. The time between merges can be reduced to a minimum of every 15 mins, through a QoL AP purchase, and the completion of challenges.

First update of the guide. lots of spelling and grammar fixes, as well as another page and a half added to the early game sections. About 1/4th done with midgame content, which should be up by friday, fingers and eyes permitting. Happy idling!
