I accepted the quest and the letter disappeared from my inventory in game, how does one go about retrieving this

Official support is unlikely to help on Steam. Usually, in games where this happens you just abandon the quest and re-accept it.

You can't abandon the quest since the letter gives it to you, the quest is marked as done and you only have a greyed "play video" button, the quest after that is just a bunch of ????? because you haven't accepted it, i'm in the same situation and completly stuck.

yup mystyq same situation, but the quest item given disappeared and now im screwed ... i honestly just need someone to give me the quest items for this quest line and the problem would be fixed

I wasted a ton of my own personal time and had a few people from the server I play on run me around through all the chapters to see if we could find a fix no go ... and support is useless in telling me to abandon the quest and reaccept it ... you can only do that with normal quests not race quests ... how can the developers not know how their own game is built LOL

Did you find anything about this? I have had a support ticket open for 22 days. The same thing happened to me, but not my wife. So I cannot move forward past this. Exact same quest.

I quit playing this game suicide unfortunately cause im not restarting a character cause no one will fix a broken ass game mechanic
