Well, there is a huge stardew valley into gearcrafting in it. You generate barely no ressource by killing players. I would even say pvp is gated by a looong pve phase. Competing with others for easy ressorce income is the lategame. But if you search for Dungeons this game ist weak in pve aspects

It's open world pvp and while some areas are safe at certain periods during the day PVP is still a factor especially if you want to level your end game gear. I wouldn't recommend an open world pvp game to someone who doesn't like pvp.

PVP is the main area, but not the only area. Lots of other activities such as trading, real estate, crafting, exploration, treasure hunting, community activities, item collections, achievement hunting, auction house baron-ing etc. etc. I haven't touched pvp for years.

I just started about 2 weeks ago and never do pvp.
I like the game as I did like 2 years ago the original. During 90 hours of leveling the main and farming quest lines to level 50 I can't remember if I even got killed by pvp player once (maybe I did or even 2 times in 90 hours). I tried to stay in peace zones or peace time in other zones most of the time but have been 10-20 ? hours in conflict zones and didn't see much trouble. So to me there is a lot to do without pvp but depends what someone is looking for.

Thanks for all the input guys, i had another question, i played WoW for 14 years and cannot unlearn being a "clicker" (i click my spells)

i tried keybinding but my 33 year old brain cannot handle it haha.

Before i buy stuff and get invested in my Sorcerer, is there a class that would be good for me, as a clicker? or should i just give up now and go back to consoles and controllers?

do you enjoy people doing literally everything you could imagine to ♥♥♥♥ you over? some common examples, blocking trade paths with carts so you cant move through, Clipping their boats through a save taxi boat to try and "scrap" people off to try and kill them, there are many more examples. this game is amazing but the community is absolute and utter ♥♥♥♥ and seems to make finding new ways to be even more toxic and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a daily challenge.

edit: just remembered another example, you're standing next to the guards in a town so not to be killed, players will summon and desummon their mounts over and over to try and push you away from the guard to kill you. seriously the trolling and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game is on a completely different level
