In case you're wondering, yes ArcheAge does in fact have an energy system. You regen ten Labor points every five minutes whether you're logged in or not (up from the older version of the game, where you got one point every five minutes as a free player and ten points every five minutes as a subscriber). This is a measure designed to prevent poopsocking and requires you to strategize how you plan on spending the finite amount of energy you get each day. More detailed guides can tell you the "optimal" way to spend your Labor, but I recommend ignoring them and just doing whatever is fun.
