I herd that Katana/spear were good!
Battlerage/shadow play/swiftblade (heard that swiftblade can be hard to manage)
You can always change your class by talking to the Nui priest, but you'll have to level your new skillset up.
However, there are a bunch of classes that are overwhelmingly better than the rest. This is why the majority of players are darkrunners and fanatics.
Melee:
- Darkrunner
- Executioner
- Deathwish
Ranged:
- Ebonsong
- Primeval
Tank/bruiser:
- Shadowcloak
- Skullknight
- Abolisher
Heal:
- Soothsayer
- Doombringer
- Cleric
Mage:
- Fanatic
- Daggerspell
Now when upgrading your gear during levelling, be VERY careful to never throw your upgraded levelling stuff away, you can not get infusions and scrolls back unless you use an adventurer's evenstone on it (destroys it so you'll have to buy a new levelling gear box at a blacksmith)
You also cannot revert it when upgraded to hiram (lv50+). You can still get a full hiram gearset with the hiram dailies achievement and otherwise abyssal legion mobs have a low chance of dropping random hiram items.
