First thing we can try is by Right clicking on Not for Broadcast > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrate of game files.
If this doesn't work please try uninstalling and re-installing the game. This should hopefully remove any duplicated files and fix the problem.
However if nothing above works please can you send a bug report to the devs to help them fix the problem you are experiencing. Thanks
As I understand it, I just need to replace all the files responsible for the video in the NotForBroadcast_Data\Master AV AssetBundles folder? Or are some other files being replaced?
If a game is purchased from the EpicGamesStore and that store doesn't have a "beta" feature, how do I download these "alternate videos"?
If the videos are not playing there are a couple things you can try:
If youre an NVIDIA user
Go to the Nvidia control panel, Go to "Manage 3D Settings"
Switch "Vertical sync" under Global Settings from "Fast" to "Use the 3D application setting"
Or install the K Lite Codec pack (be careful when installing codecs online - make sure they are legitimate and safe!)
The video as a whole is played in the game.
The problem appears already when starting a new game. The right screen of TV viewers just glows white instead of the end credits of the TV show. Then a program guide appears on the air, and everything seems to be fine. But then I put on the air with Jeremy Donaldson a few seconds before the news starts, and the right screen starts flickering white. This bug also appears when broadcasts are turned on at the end of each ad.
All other screens work fine for the most part. But sometimes white flickers occur on some small screens on the left, more precisely on those that are not used as the main broadcast. Therefore, playing with such a problem is uncomfortable.
The game is installed on the ssd. K-lite codec updated to latest version. I tried to play in both windowed and full screen modes. Noticed one feature. When starting the game menu, vertical sync is enabled in the settings. But when I start a new game and open the settings, v-sync is showing as off. I've tried turning on every possible v-sync setting in the Nvidia control panel. But either I'm doing something wrong, or on Windows 7 this advice cannot solve the problem.
I think an alternate video thread might help. But I don't know how to download it. My version of the game was purchased from EpicGameStore, and this store does not have beta installation features.
After installing it, all the video in the game on Windows 7 worked without bugs. Thanks everyone for the tips.
